About the property
The 28-acre Firebrand Island can be accessed via boat launch to the private community of Paces Lake, just minutes from Musquodoboit Harbour on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia.
The property is about 40 minutes drive from Halifax, whereby supermarkets, doctors, and entertainment are mere 15 minutes away.
The nearby River Oaks Golf Course, just 15 minutes away, offers an professional 18 hole and 9 hole course.
Our plan is that with the property acquisition we would include the clearing of 6 smaller plots for the construction of mini holiday cabins, which would increase the guest capacity of the island.
The maximum guest capacity of the island by project end will be 38 guest. The island will be branded as a retreat for groups and as weekend getaway.
Why Nova Scotia?
Nova Scotia is a province in eastern Canada. With a population of just over a million people it is the most populous of Canada’s three Maritime provinces and four Atlantic provinces.
It is the country’s second-most densely populated province and second-smallest province by area, both after neighboring Prince Edward Island. The province borders the Bay of Fundy to the northwest and the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east, and is separated from Prince Edward Island and the island of Newfoundland by the Northumberland and Cabot straits, respectively.
Nova Scotia offers secure and stable environment for investments of all sizes. The eco tourism sector as well as related activities such as bird watching, yoga retreats and corporate getaways offer great future returns and stability.
